Tonight’s PP112 entry looks at something that genuinely surprised me.
On paper, the PowerPlus 112 should be the thirstier engine — 6.2 L/100km vs the 4.6 L/100km I was getting from the outgoing 116 Chieftain. But out on the road, with the bigger tank and the way this bike actually rides, I’m consistently seeing more real‑world range from the 112.
In this instalment I break down the numbers, the riding conditions, and why the data doesn’t quite line up with the experience. The numbers say one thing… the range says another.
PP112 is my nightly diary as I settle into life with the Roadmaster 112 — small observations, real‑world notes, and the things you only learn by living with a bike every day.
