Day four of our India motorcycle journey took us from Devrukh to Mahad, and it ended up being one of the most unexpected and emotional days of the entire trip.

Along the way, we were met with kindness that completely caught us off guard, small moments that meant everything, and people who asked for nothing in return. Like the lovely man who gave us a Chai at our first stop and woulds not accept any money in return, or the other lovely man who owned a fruit stall in Mahad who gave us some custard apples to try.

Riding through rural Maharashtra on Royal Enfield Bear 650s, we stopped at local fruit stalls, explored peaceful caves, and discovered places we never planned to find. What started as just another day on the road quickly became a reminder of why traveling by motorcycle is so special, the freedom, the connection, and the people you meet along the way.

India constantly challenges your expectations, and this day was no different. From overwhelming generosity to quiet, beautiful moments beside the road, this ride gave us memories we’ll carry long after the engines stopped. This is India beyond the headlines, beyond the chaos, and straight from the heart.
