There’s no need to worry about it. I guess I just have to accept this is part of it. I think this truck and the 3.0 Duramax are great, but there is one huge problem with this truck: the diesel exhaust fluid sensor and range is horrendous when it comes to towing. The threat of going into limp mode when you are 800 miles from home can be nerve-racking. Especially when the tank is full of DEF. In today’s video, I give you a first-person view of the issues that I experienced with my 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Midnight Edition High Country 3.0 Duramax Diesel Exhaust Fluid {DEF} sensor.
