For decades, Daytona Bike Week has been one of the most legendary motorcycle events in America. Hundreds of thousands of riders roll into Daytona Beach every year to experience the culture, the bikes, and the freedom that made Bike Week famous.

But recently, many riders say the atmosphere has shifted.

Daytona has installed new real-time surveillance cameras on Main Street and Seabreeze Boulevard, allowing law enforcement to monitor the rally areas as the event unfolds. Officials say the system helps them respond to incidents faster and review footage when something happens.
