The 2026 Indian Challenger is one of the biggest competitors to the Harley-Davidson Road Glide, but after spending real time with one, I started noticing some VERY different design decisions.

Coming from a Harley Road Glide, there were several things about the Indian Challenger that immediately threw me off—from the way Indian designed the seat and battery location to the saddlebags and some of the smaller details you don’t really notice during a quick test ride.

Some of these differences are better. Some take getting used to. And a few had me wondering why Indian chose to do things so differently in the first place.
