This is the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid, and it’s time for a First Ride. I’ve never been on this bike before, but by the end of the video, I’ll know if this hybrid setup actually works on the street—and yes, I’m giving it a Chase Score. With a 451cc twin and an electric motor putting out 68 horsepower, the bike has some quirks, like early upshifting in Eco mode and an automatic transmission that doesn’t always play nice mid-turn. But paddle shifting? Surprisingly solid. I dive into what it’s like switching between modes, how the power feels, and what it’s like to ride a hybrid that weighs over 500 pounds.
