Today I’m taking out a decommissioned 2018 BMW R1200RT-P, a police-spec touring bike you don’t get to ride every day. This First Ride is all about seeing what this machine feels like now that it’s off duty—how it carries its weight, how it behaves in the city and on the highway, and what it’s like living with all the unique equipment still attached.
