Why are Harley riders still hated by drivers and other motorcyclists? As a Harley-Davidson rider, I’m examining some of the behaviors, traditions and misconceptions that continue hurting the reputation of Harley riders—even though the vast majority don’t act this way.

From motorcycle groups that believe nobody should pass them to the conflict between Harley tradition and Harley’s need to modernize, we’re separating legitimate riding etiquette from entitlement—and fair criticism from tired Harley stereotypes.
