What is it really like riding a motorcycle into one of the busiest cities on the planet?

In this episode, we leave Lonavala, riding down out of the mountains and onto the motorway heading straight towards Mumbai. As the city gets closer, the traffic thickens, the air fills with dust, and the riding quickly becomes more intense than anything we’ve experienced before.

Lanes disappear, vehicles squeeze into impossible gaps, and the pace becomes relentless. As we push deeper into Mumbai, the streets get more chaotic, traffic lights turn into flashpoints, and we’re forced to adapt fast, weaving through cars, buses, scooters, and pedestrians just to keep moving.
Eventually, we battle our way through the madness and reach our hotel, exhausted but buzzing, ready to see what the city looks like with fresh eyes the next day.

The following morning, we explore a very different side of Mumbai. Quieter streets, wealthier neighbourhoods, and a calmer pace of life that feels worlds away from the chaos of the night before. We then head to the Gateway of India, taking in one of the city’s most historic areas and seeing how old and new Mumbai exist side by side.

This video isn’t about judgement, it’s about experience. What it feels like to ride here, how different it is from the UK or US, and why Mumbai might be the most intense place we’ve ever ridden.
