The Benda Chinchilla 500 might have one of the strangest names in motorcycling – but it’s also one of the most surprising cruisers we’ve ridden.

At first glance, many riders won’t take it seriously because the name alone will put some people off. But that would be a mistake, because underneath the badge is a genuinely impressive cruiser with real character.

Powered by a lively V-Twin and built with proper cruiser proportions, the Chinchilla delivers something that many modern middleweight bikes lack: soul, presence and personality.
