I’m at Daytona International Speedway for the 85th Bike Week to see the Harley-Davidson RMCR Concept in person. This Revolution Max Cafe Racer is the ultimate high-performance tribute to the legendary 1977 XLCR and Willie G. Davidson.

The 1977 XLCR was Willie G. Davidson’s “beautiful failure”—a bike ahead of its time that the world wasn’t ready for. Today at Daytona Bike Week 2026, the legend is officially REBORN. In this video, we take a deep-dive walkaround of the stunning Harley-Davidson RMCR Concept (Revolution Max Cafe Racer). First revealed at the Mama Tried Show in Milwaukee, H-D has brought this carbon-fiber beast to the Daytona International Speedway to gauge one thing: should they finally put it into production for 2027?

What we cover in this walkaround:
✅ The Specs: 1250cc Revolution Max V-Twin pushing a massive 150 HP (a far cry from the original’s 68 HP!).
✅ The Tech: A shortened Pan America ST chassis with high-end Öhlins suspension, Brembo monoblock brakes, and a custom Akrapovič 2-into-2 exhaust.
✅ The Design: Full exposed-weave carbon fiber bodywork that pays direct tribute to the 1977 XLCR’s “bikini” fairing and “stinger” tail.
✅ The Culture: Why this bike finally realizes Willie G.’s dream of beating the Japanese superbikes—just like that iconic street race in the movie Black Rain.
