I have ridden in some superb parts of the world. Iconic places. Colorado, to the Himalayas. Greece to South Africa to Iceland. The world is a beautiful and we’re meant to look at it. But we’re also guided by the internet and guide books way too much.

I’ve never heard the Picos De Europa or Asturias talked about as stunning mountains, empty or anything other than being good roads not too far from the UK. That is selling it short like you cannot imagine. Trust me. This place should be on the list of places you want to ride in your lifetime.

It’s beautiful, vast and full of incredible culture and history.
