BMW Motorrad’s Vision K18 concept, is a radical ultra-low, aviation-inspired power-bagger without bags that blends supersonic jet and Formula 1 styling. BMW enlarged its K-series 1649cc inline-six to 1800cc, distinguishing it from the R18’s 1800cc boxer twin, and the new engine is liquid-cooled, high-revving, and forward-canted, with potential to exceed 180 horsepower and deliver strong torque despite no official figures. Design details emphasize “six” motifs, Concorde-inspired “Full Force Forward” proportions, and six-foot hand-shaped aluminum side panels. Packaging swaps the airbox and fuel tank for a flatter tail, while six ceramic-coated exhaust tips, hydraulically lowerable suspension, and Duolever front suspension highlight the engineering. The concept signals a future production heavyweight inline-six under development.
