Motorcycle Navigation new defined

I am super excited to announce that my really unique motorcycle navigation app, Bike-Nav, is almost ready to hit the market.
Bike-Nav is a next-generation motorcycle navigation system with a unique range of features. The Bike-Nav app is designed entirely to meet the needs of motorcyclists and, above all, offers all the features you’ve always wanted but couldn’t find anywhere else. Let me briefly introduce a few of the features my app comes with …
Group rides:
You can use the app to organise entire group rides. The members of the group can see where the group is currently located. You can be guided to the group that is already on the road.
For example, a large motorcycle club is organizing a big European meeting in Norway. Now you create a group for the journey to the meeting. The first chapter sets off from Portugal. The chapters from Spain can see where the group from Portugal is currently riding – and can seamlessly join them without having to stop. Then they ride on together to France – the French chapters simply join in … and so on and so forth.
The next issue you always have with group rides: someone needs to go to the toilet, fill up with gas, or feels the urgent need to smoke a cigarette, have a snack or drink a glass of cola. The Road Captain always rides at the front. Somewhere in the group, there is now someone who needs to take a leak or urgently needs to refuel. One click on the display – and the Road Captain knows what’s going on and can head for the nearest gas station or restroom.
Let’s take a really worst-case scenario: the penultimate rider misses a curve and falls. The rest of the group rides ahead and doesn’t even notice. It’s happened many times, I’ve been there myself… now there are two possibilities:
1. One of the riders behind notices and clicks on the display. The Road Captain knows, the group knows. Everyone stops, rides back and helps.
2. The app automatically detects that the rider has had an accident. The emergency system is activated and notifies the group.
The emergency system can of course also be used without the group function. BMW, for example, installs this function in its motorcycles at an additional cost.
Again, the same principle applies: the app detects the accident and sends a message to emergency contacts with the exact coordinates of the accident, the time of the accident, the contact details of the driver involved, and so on.
In countries where emergency services can accept and evaluate such SMS messages, the emergency services, such as ambulances and police, are also automatically notified. This is very practical if, for example, you are alone at night in the middle of nowhere and end up in a ditch somewhere.
The next point – tour planning:
Until now, planning a longer road trip has always involved a considerable amount of effort. Determining daily stages, booking accommodation, finding restaurants, and so on and so forth… The Bike-Nav app has a complete tour planner. For example, you can specify how many kilometers or hours you want to drive per stage, when you want to take breaks, which sights you want to see along the way, which restaurants you want to eat at, and which hotel, guesthouse, campsite, or whatever you want to stay at. Of course, you can also book your accommodation from within the app.
You can also create different vehicle profiles, where you can enter vehicle-specific data such as the make or range on a full tank. When you set off, simply enter the mileage from the trip meter and the app will know exactly when you need to refuel and automatically guide you to the nearest gas station when you need to fill up. If you have a breakdown, for example, the app knows what brand you ride and finds the nearest authorized dealer for you.
These are just a few examples of the many possible applications. But I hope you understand the direction the app is heading in. It’s more than just another navigation app like the ones we’ve seen before.
The Bike-Nav app is expected to be released in Q2 2026 for Android and in Q3 2026 for iOS.
We are currently looking for 500 testers for Android and 500 testers for iOS for practical testing in real-world conditions. Apply now and be part of this unique project!

I hope you will check out my app and will like Bike-Nav as much as I do!
Cheers from Portugal
Achim
