A few days ago, I left my home in Tennessee and pointed my motorcycle’s front wheel north, starting my adventure on my 2025 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Ultra. Triple-digit temperatures are plaguing the Southeast, so I decided to go north in search of cooler weather- final destination Nova Scotia, Canada. After a sweaty 90-degree night of tent camping in West Virginia, battling mosquitoes, I make my way through Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, finally entering higher into New England, before making my way to the Ferry for Nova Scotia.
The heat is taking a toll on me and my equipment. I had to make a necessary repair to my equipment, and no one had what I needed, so I had to improvise.
