Yamaha’s WR 250F has a rich history. What started in ’01 as the first real 250 four stroke Enduro bike of ‘modern’ era, the 2022 model is in a very different place. In Europe at least, Yamaha are not the market leaders. They’re an outlier offering really capable bikes at very competitive prices.

And that’s the biggest interest in the WR. It’s different; both more off-road focussed than the other Japanese bikes, but a little more MX than the Euro offerings, at a lower price. Strangely, the lower price isn’t reflective of the components either.
