Indian Scout: First Complete Teardown!

💭 This would mostly be a trivial job.. not too many surprises, but I would run into a ridiculous issue with removing the exhaust. Not that I couldn’t get it loose, more on clearing the front frame. I have no reason to believe the frame is bent. Spent a lot of time on it, but this job took right at 12 hours. If we add the front end work (triples, wheel, forks), maybe 12 1/2 hrs. The front end came off trivial besides the bent tubes. Also, I did not start with a sub frame or rear fender so maybe… another 15 minutes. That stuff isn’t hard to take off.
With the frame in pieces, I’d be getting these parts off to power coating for a hopeful.. less than two week return to rebuilding this.
