It is very hard to beat the Italian design. In the little scooters segment Italians are really successful. This is one of their A1 compliant models. A 125 cc scooter. The Piaggio Vespa Sprint 125 S. I test rode it. It has a great look and a lot of modern features. In fact the styling is a bit retro too. Here are my thoughts about it including the PROS and CONS section.
