Harley offers either a Chrome or Black engine trim finish on several of its motorcycles. The black will cost you a little more but if it’s the style you’re going for then it’s worth it. Aside from the obvious style enhancements there are a few things that you should consider when making a choice on your engine finishes. Many riders don’t like polishing chrome too much so they go for the black but is black really a lower maintenance finish? Also, why does black cost more?
