It’s not until you’ve ridden a motorcycle of this era, that you can truly understand how different today’s motorcycles really are. This review gives you a glimpse into the sheer magnificence of this classic motorcycle; a bike that sends tingles down your spine, and satisfies your soul.
Today we review Steve McQueen’s favourite ever motorcycle, yes that’s right, the man from the Great Escape and Papillon said the Rickman Metisse was the best bike he’s owned and also the best handling bike he’s ever ridden.
In this video we go into detail on the essence of this incredible motorbike; born of an era before rules and regulations, and government policy. We discover how it feels, what the experience is like to ride such a raw classic; a true rebels ride. This bike was built from the ground up, and is 1980 registered, using a 1970s Triumph 650cc Parallel Twin engine, which sounds amazing!
