I haven’t even seen my Harley-Davidson Road Glide in months—and in the meantime, I’ve been putting serious miles on the Indian Challenger.

After living with the Challenger long enough for the new-bike excitement to wear off, I’m starting to notice the things I genuinely miss about my Road Glide… and, maybe more importantly, the things I don’t miss at all.

The Harley-Davidson Road Glide and Indian Challenger are two of the biggest names in the American bagger and touring motorcycle world, but actually living with both tells you a lot more than a simple spec-sheet comparison ever could.

So has the Indian Challenger actually been a good replacement for my Road Glide? And has riding the Indian changed the way I look at Harley-Davidson?
