Indian Motorcycle sent me a 2026 Indian Challenger to ride through the end of the year, and this is the beginning of a full long-term test—not just another quick motorcycle review.

In this video, I introduce the Challenger, explain why Indian sent it to the channel, and break down some of the features and design choices that immediately threw me off. From the unusual seat and battery setup to the storage, controls, fairing details, lighting and touring-focused features, this bike does several things very differently from the Harley-Davidson baggers I’m used to riding.

Over the next several months, I’ll be putting real miles on this 2026 Indian Challenger and covering comfort, handling, performance, touring capability, technology, storage, reliability and the realities of living with it. There will also be direct comparisons against my Harley-Davidson Road Glide to determine where the Challenger is genuinely better—and where Indian still has work to do.
