The LS2 Advant II is a $400 carbon fiber modular that weighs 1,750 grams and is P/J homologated, meaning the chin bar flips a full 180 degrees so you can legally ride it open face. Drop-down sun visor, Pinlock Max Vision, and three shell sizes all included. It punches way above its price tag against the Neotec 3 and Schuberth C5, but it runs loud, the visor button has almost no tactile feedback, and the two-step chin bar flip is clunkier than it should be. If you want hot weather flexibility without spending Shoei money, this one genuinely surprised me.
