The 2026 Honda CBR650R with E-Clutch is a middleweight sport bike a lot of people are sleeping on. The E-Clutch is the headline: you still shift, you just never touch the lever, and it makes city traffic genuinely enjoyable instead of a workout. At $9,900 it is a serious value play, pulls torquey down low, and is comfortable enough to ride all day. The knocks are spongy brakes, more wiggle in the corners than I wanted, and that E-Clutch jerk at parking lot speeds. Chase Score: 68 out of 100.
