I took the 2026 Harley-Davidson Nightster out on the Florida backroads to see if this liquid-cooled “Revolution Max” tech actually belongs in a Harley-Davidson frame. The power on this 975T engine is a total surprise—once you hit that 4,000–4,500 RPM range, it’s a completely different animal than my 2021 air-cooled Iron 883. But as someone who values mechanical self-reliance and the old school soul of an EVO, I had to find out if the tech makes this bike a keeper or a dealership-dependent headache.
