Today’s first ride gets seriously intense with the 2025 Yamaha R1M, Yamaha’s top level superbike packing nearly 200 horsepower and enough speed to make me nervous before I even left the dealership. From terrifying 40 to 80 pulls to insane highway stability, this thing feels every bit like a street legal race bike. The CP4 engine sounds unbelievable, the semi active Ohlins suspension feels locked in, and the tech feels straight out of a MotoGP fever dream.
