For years, fans of KTM’s entry‑level ADV machine asked for more off‑road chops—and KTM has finally responded. The all-new 390 Adventure R arrives as a ground‑up overhaul, bringing rally‑inspired bodywork, a new steel trellis frame, spoked 21/18 wheels, and 9 inches of suspension travel front and rear. Ground clearance rises by 2.4 inches while seat height increases only half an inch, keeping the bike approachable yet far more capable in the dirt.
In our latest video, we put the new machine through its paces to see if it’s a significant upgrade on both street and dirt, while still retaining the approachability that made it a popular choice in the midsize ADV segment.
