Take a ride back in time with me as I throw a leg over a 2002 Suzuki SV650, one of the most important motorcycles in my riding journey. This bike is nearly identical to the one that got me started on two wheels, and after 17 years of riding, I wanted to find out if the legendary SV650 still holds up today. From carburetors and manual chokes to old-school V-twin character and zero rider aids, this first ride turned into a nostalgic look at what motorcycling was like before screens, modes, and electronics took over.
